Cables Unlimited (SPK-VELO-001) 2 Wireless Speakers

I have wanted to have wireless speakers for some time.

The speakers can be powered with standard batteries so they can be completely wireless, The battery compartment could use some refinement. I use rechargeable batteries to save money/resources. I had to re-seat the batteries several times due to the AA to C spacers on my rechargeable batteries getting stuck in the very tight compartment.

I was surprised at the sound quality. Nice highs solid lows. They're listed as "Two-way" speakers, I cannot find any statement that they are in fact stereo at each unit or not. If I do a speaker test on my computer both respond to left and right test.

Functionally they work great. I like to stream NPR on the weekend. I can put one on the deck and one in the kitchen when I'm grilling. Or I put one in any room that I'm working in and one in the garage. I don't think I will use my radio much anymore.

They have worked everywhere I have tried them in the house. I walked to the corner of my lot with one, it started getting scratchy at about 125', but even that went away if I stopped moving. Their 150' claim seems reasonable to me.
